Lectures Guidelines
Language and Format
- The official language is English; no translation services will be provided.
- All speakers must upload their presentations on the lecture room computer before the first morning session begins—no later than during the lunch or coffee break. A lecture hall assistant will help with this procedure.
- For a smooth program schedule and to avoid delays from switching computers, please provide your presentation on a USB memory stick. CRYOGENICS 2025 does not permit the use of speakers’ own laptops.
- Only Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in 16:9 format are accepted.
- Please note that no official presentation template is required or provided. Presenters are free to prepare their slides in the style and format of their choice.
- Each presenter is allotted 15 minutes for their lecture and 3 minutes for discussion (18 minutes total, plus an additional 2 minutes for transitioning between speakers).
Assistance and Registration
- If you would like to test your presentation before your lecture, please contact the conference assistants in the lecture hall—they are available to help.
- All speakers are required to register on time to receive their badges and other conference materials.
Discussion and Session Protocol:
- A discussion will follow each lecture immediately, and a common discussion can take place after all papers in the session have been presented. Therefore, all speakers are asked to stay for the entire session.
- When it is your turn, proceed directly to the podium once the previous speaker has finished and answered questions. The session chair will introduce you and prompt you to begin.
Presentation Best Practices
- Start immediately with the subject matter—avoid giving an additional personal introduction.
- Pace your talk to finish at the scheduled time.
- Adhere strictly to the allocated time for both your presentation and the discussion.
- Follow all instructions provided by the session chair.
- During the discussion, listen carefully to questions and answer them briefly. If a question requires a more detailed response, suggest discussing it privately after the session.
Publication of Presentations on the Web Page
We kindly ask all presenting authors to send us their Power Point presentation after it has been presented.
This is of course not mandatory, but welcome for participants.
You can shorten the presentation for publication or leave it as you presented. This is entirely up to you.
The presentation will not be posted publicly, but will only be accessible to registered participants who will be given an access password.
